Palletizing & Wrapping

The last automated step before the warehouse

Overview

End-of-line systems take packed product from the line, stack it on a pallet to a defined pattern, and secure the load so it arrives intact. Everything upstream is wasted if the load shifts in transit.

Palletizing is available in mechanical, robotic, cartesian and hybrid configurations at 300 to 2,500 units per hour. The choice comes down to one question: where is the stacking pattern defined? Mechanical systems build it into the structure, which is fast but slow to change. Robotic and cartesian systems define it in software, so a new pattern is a new program. High-tonnage single-product lines choose mechanical; plants with many SKUs choose robotic.

Stretch wrapping then contains the load. Two settings decide both cost and result: pre-stretch ratio, which sets how many metres of film each pallet consumes, and wrap force, which balances load stability against crushing the sacks underneath.

Benefits & Features

  • Palletizing 300 – 2,500 units per hour by configuration
  • Wrapping 15 – 120 pallets per hour
  • Sacks, cartons, drums, big bags and shrink packs
  • Software-defined patterns on robotic and cartesian systems
  • Bag turning and layer interlocking for stack stability
  • Powered pre-stretch up to 300% — direct film cost reduction
  • Automatic pallet dispensing, slip sheet and top sheet placing

Palletizing System

Palletizing System

Robotic and mechanical palletizing, 300 to 2,500 units/hour

Pallet Stretch Wrapper

Load containment from 15 to 120 pallets/hour

Areas & Application

Cement & Building Materials

Heavy sack pallets stacked and wrapped for outdoor storage and long-distance transport, with top sheet protection against weather.

Fertilizer & Agriculture

Interlocked patterns and moisture protection for hygroscopic products held before dispatch.

Animal Feed

Multiple SKUs on one line, where software-defined patterns avoid mechanical changeover.

Polymers & Chemicals

Sacks, drums and big bags handled in one cell with tool changeover, then wrapped against dust ingress.

Food & Beverage

Cartons and sacks palletized to retailer-specified patterns with food-grade film.
