Bucket Elevator
Behpoo bucket elevators lift bulk solids vertically at up to 500 t/h and heights beyond 50 metres. Belt and chain versions, with centrifugal or continuous discharge matched to your material.
A bucket elevator lifts material vertically in buckets attached to a belt or chain running between a head and a boot pulley. It is the standard answer wherever material must gain height and floor space is limited.

Two decisions define the machine. Belt or chain: belts run quietly and gently and suit free-flowing, non-abrasive materials at higher speed; chains handle abrasive, hot and heavy materials but cost more to maintain.
Centrifugal or continuous discharge: centrifugal elevators run fast and throw material out of the bucket by centrifugal force, which suits free-flowing products but breaks fragile ones. Continuous elevators run slowly with buckets close together, and each bucket discharges over the back of the one in front — gentle, and the only option for sticky or fragile material.
Boot design is where most elevators fail in service: material that accumulates in the boot causes belt slip, misalignment and eventually a fire risk in combustible dust.

Product Range
| Type | What it is | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| Belt / Centrifugal | Belt with spaced buckets, fast running, thrown discharge | Free-flowing non-abrasive materials — grain, granules, fertilizer |
| Belt / Continuous | Belt with closely spaced buckets, slow, gentle discharge | Fragile products where breakage matters |
| Chain / Centrifugal | Chain with buckets, fast running | Abrasive and hot materials at high capacity |
| Chain / Continuous | Chain with closely spaced buckets, slow | Sticky, hot and abrasive materials needing gentle discharge |
| Z-Type Elevator | Bucket path forms a Z — horizontal in, vertical up, horizontal out | Packaging lines feeding weighers and fillers |
| Inclined Elevator | Bucket or cleated belt at an angle | Where a shallower route suits the layout better |
