Big Bag / Jumbo Bag Filling Machine

Behpoo big bag filling machines fill FIBC bags from 250 to 2,500 kg with weighing accuracy down to ±0.1%. Five configurations are available, from economy semi-automatic stations to twin-station lines at 60 bags per hour.

Behpoo big bag FIBC filling station with overhead weighing frame
Big Bag / Jumbo Bag Filling Machine

A big bag filling machine fills flexible intermediate bulk containers with powders, granules and flakes to a defined target weight. The empty bag is suspended from its lifting loops, filled under weight control, then released for closing and palletising.

Behpoo supplies the full range — from manual stations for low-volume and frequently changing products, up to twin-station automatic lines for high-throughput mineral and chemical duty. Every machine can be specified with overhead or platform weighing, gravity, screw or air-assisted feed, and ATEX execution where combustible materials are handled.

In the line, the filler sits under a buffer hopper fed from silo storage through a rotary valve or slide gate, and discharges to bag closing, pallet conveying and stretch wrapping.

Benefits & Features

  • Weighing accuracy ±0.1% to ±0.5% of target weight
  • Repeatability σ ≤ ±0.1%
  • Capacity 250 – 2,500 kg per bag
  • Throughput 5 – 60 bags/hour
  • Overhead, platform and loss-in-weight weighing
  • ATEX execution with Type C bag grounding and continuity monitoring
  • Vibrating deck, air-vibration arms or bag former for densification

Product Range

Type What it is Typical use
Economy Semi-automatic station with gravity feed and vibrating deck Medium volume, free-flowing materials
ATEX Economy plus Type C bag grounding and continuity monitor Combustible powders — chemical, pharma, silica flour
High-Speed Automatic Full-auto with bag magazine and bag former High-volume single-product lines — cement, fertilizer
Twin-Station Two stations filling alternately, screw feed, full ATEX High-rate chemical and mineral lines
Difficult-Flow Screw or air-assisted feed with reinforced densification Very fine, cohesive or moist powders — carbonate, bentonite
Loss-in-Weight Prefeed Batch pre-weighed in an upstream hopper, then discharged in one shot Highest throughput lines above 40 bags/hour

Areas & Application

Cement & Minerals

Bulk cement, lime, silica flour and mineral fillers, filled at high throughput with dust containment and abrasion-resistant execution.

Chemicals & Petrochemicals

Resins, additives, catalysts and fine chemical powders, filled under ATEX conditions with Type C bags and ground continuity monitoring.

Plastics & Polymers

Granules, pellets and regrind filled by gravity at high rate, with bag formers keeping filled bags square for dense pallet stacking.

Fertilizers & Agriculture

Granular fertilizers, feed additives and grain products on single-product lines running 30 – 45 bags per hour.

Food Ingredients

Flour, starch, sugar and powdered ingredients in stainless steel execution with cleaning access.
