Belt Conveyor
Behpoo belt conveyors move bulk solids and packed goods over long distances with the lowest energy cost per tonne of any mechanical method. Belt widths from 400 to 2,000 mm .
A belt conveyor carries material on a moving belt supported by idler rollers. Over distance, nothing moves bulk material more cheaply — the belt carries the load and only friction has to be overcome.

Three things decide the design. Belt width and speed set capacity. Incline angle is limited by the material's angle of repose — beyond it, product rolls back, unless a cleated or sidewall belt is used. And the transfer points, where material is loaded and discharged, are where dust, spillage and belt damage originate.
Behpoo supplies troughed belt conveyors for bulk solids, flat belts for packed goods, modular plastic belts for washdown and accumulation, PVC belts for light duty, and cleated and sidewall belts for steep inclines.
Belt weighing can be integrated directly into the conveyor, turning it from a transport device into a measuring point.

Product Range
| Type | What it is | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| Troughed Belt | Belt shaped into a trough by angled idlers | Bulk solids over medium and long distances — the standard |
| Flat Belt | Flat belt on slider bed or rollers | Packed goods, sacks, cartons and drums |
| Modular Plastic Belt | Interlocking plastic modules | Washdown environments, accumulation and turning |
| PVC / PU Belt | Light-duty polymer belt on slider bed | Packaging lines, food and light products |
| Cleated Belt | Transverse cleats holding material on the belt | Inclines beyond the material's angle of repose |
| Sidewall Belt | Corrugated sidewalls plus cleats | Steep to near-vertical elevation in a small footprint |
| Weighing Conveyor | Belt conveyor with an integrated weighbridge | Where transport and measurement happen at the same point |

Areas & Application
Mining & Aggregates
Long-distance transport of ore, stone and sand, where belt conveying is the only economic method at high tonnage.
Cement & Building Materials
Raw material and clinker transport, with enclosed conveyors and extraction at transfer points.
Grain & Agriculture
Intake, transfer and dispatch conveying, with gentle handling limiting grain damage.
Packaging Lines
Sack, carton and drum transport between filling, inspection and palletising, with modular and PVC belts.
Recycling & Waste
Sorting and transfer conveying with impact idlers and heavy-duty belts.
