Bag Unloading Station

Behpoo bag unloading stations open and empty 25 to 50 kg sacks into your process under full dust containment. Three levels are available, from manual stations at 60 bags per hour to fully automatic systems above 1,500.

A bag unloading station opens sacks of raw material and discharges the contents into a hopper, silo or conveying system. It sits at the raw material entry point of the plant, upstream of mixers, feeders and weighing systems.

Automating this station is usually two projects at once — a capacity project and an occupational health project. Manual bag tipping exposes operators to dust and to the repeated lifting of 50 kg sacks, and leaves the door open to foreign body contamination from knives, gloves and bag fragments.

Behpoo stations are built around a closed enclosure held under negative pressure, with local extraction at the cutting and discharge points, a safety screen against bag fragments, and a contained route for the empty bag. Cutting mechanism, drum residence time and screen mesh are specified against your material and sack type.

Benefits & Features

  • Throughput 60 – 1,500+ bags/hour depending on automation level
  • Sack sizes 25 – 50 kg
  • Fully enclosed cutting and discharge under negative pressure
  • Adjustable, recipe-storable cut depth
  • Safety screen and magnet or metal detector against contamination
  • Contained empty-bag route with final shake-out
  • Optional bag compactor for waste volume reduction

Product Range

Type What it is Typical use
Manual Tipping Station Operator cuts and tips the sack into a hooded, extracted hopper Low volume, high product variety, laboratory and batch production
Semi-Automatic Slitter Operator places sacks on a conveyor; cutting, emptying and bag ejection are automatic The standard industrial case for medium volume
Fully Automatic (BOM) Depalletiser feeds sacks automatically; no operator in the cycle High-volume single-material lines

Areas & Application

Food

Flour, sugar and starch discharged with clean longitudinal cutting and inspection screening where bag fragments in product are unacceptable.

Pharmaceutical

Powder discharge under containment where the material has an occupational exposure limit and manual tipping is not permitted.

Chemicals & Polymers

Additives, masterbatch and chemical powders fed into mixers and conveying lines, with ATEX execution where dust is combustible.

Construction Materials

Cement, gypsum and additives at high throughput, where abrasion resistance and extraction capacity drive the design.

Animal Feed

Premix and additive sacks discharged into batching hoppers with magnet and screen protection.
